Award "Package of the year 2011" for GRANITOL

During 22th and 23th June 2011, Prague hosted the 17th annual national packaging competition "Package of the year 2011" evaluation, held by the Czech Packaging Association SYBA.

GRANITOL company was awarded for an exhibit "FILMS MIKROTEN M*S WITH ANTISCRATCH ADDITIVES" entered in the category of Package Materials. "Package of the year 2011" award demonstrates both high quality products and Granitol´s position as an innovator in the Czech and European market. 

86 exhibits were entered in six categories:

• Consumer packaging

• Gift packaging

• Group packages and displays

• Packaging materials

• Labels, closures, fixation and other auxiliary packaging means

• Transport and handling packaging

Films Mikroten M*S with antiscratch additives are used for packaging of wide range of products, which incline to be scratched. Usually these typical products are made of plastics in automotive (e.g. headlights) and electronics (e.g. LCD screens), which have to be protected during transport and storage. It is possible to produce bags, sacks or other  products. Films can be used for lamination to other packaging materials. More information about the product here

There isn´t any other producer of these special films in the Czech Republic.
