Award-winning Innovation
ANTISCRATCH FILM HDPE
Products with scratch-sensitive surfaces may be damaged during transport and storage due to friction with the packaging material. Typically, these are plastics in the automotive and electronics industries that must be protected during transport to the next manufacturing operation or when shipped to the final customer in consumer packaging. MIKROTEN® M*S films containing an anti-scratch additive are used for packaging a wide range of products (technical items, headlights, LCD screens, electronics, etc.) that are susceptible to scratching. They can be used as a semi-finished product for the production of other packaging (bags, shirt bags).
Antiscratch films are waterproof, moisture-resistant and have minimal water vapour and odour permeability. They transmit very little oxygen, fat and aromatic substances. Prolonged exposure to the sun causes gradual degradation of the films due to UV radiation. The lifetime of the film can be extended at the customer’s request by adding suitable additives. Antiscratch additives change the surface properties of the film. It is not a matter of creating a surface layer, but the agents are in the whole material. Therefore, there is no risk of them migrating and disappearing over time, as is the case with standard slip agents. Organically modified siloxanes are used as antiscratch agents.

mikroten®
MIKROTEN® is the protected trade name for single-layer blown HDPE films, which are the best known product trademark in Granitol’s modern history. The brand has become a symbol for this type of product in Central European countries, similar to the generalization of the Xerox or Lux brands. The product was awarded the Packaging of the Year award for its properties.
It is produced in several types which differ in their mechanical properties depending on the type of material used. In addition to their thermal resistance to temperatures of -50 °C to +110 °C, these films are resistant to most common chemicals, do not corrode the packaged goods and can be welded.

Packaging
The rolls are packed in a cut and placed horizontally or vertically on a pallet, protected and fixed with stretch film or palletising bag. |
Ecology
100% recyclable, unobjectionable for environment, films can be deposited in dumps or combusted – no harmful substances appear.
Contact with foodstuffs
Not suitable for direct contact with food.
