Group Packaging Films
GRANOTEN® Sk is the registered trade name for new generation of more-layer PE co-extruded shrinkable films (special types of PE resins). They are designed especially for group packaging (collation of products) of PET bottles 1,5 and 2 litres, but there is wide range of possible application for group packaging of other products. The film has excellent optical properties, i.e. low haze and high gloss; this stresses the attractiveness of the package as the carrier of the advertisement message. Higher tensile strength and elongation enable reducing the thickness, which brings the substantial savings in costs for packaging itself, transport and waste disposal. This product was awarded the prize „Package of the Year 2006“.
GRANOTEN® is the registered trade name of LDPE monolayer blown films shrinkable by heats, which are suitable for common group packaging.
Both sorts of shrinkable films are intended as one-way transport package for group packaging (collation of products). During packaging it comes first to softening of the film by short heat effect; the film copies the form of packed object and after cooling the film stiffens again and forms a well fixed package. Their temperature stability is in the range –50 °C up to +85 °C. The films are resistant against most of common chemical substances at normal and high temperature; they have minimal wettability and good electro-insulating properties.
